San Jose State President Selected
On Monday May 12th the Trustees interviewed the top three candidates for the campus President position at San Jose State. On Wednesday the 14th the trustees made it official that Texas Tech President Jon Whitmore would assume the duties as President replacing the popular President Don Kassing who was retiring at the end of this school year. Trustees Increase Student Fees by $276.00 per year
After considerable discussion, the Trustees voted to increase student fees for the upcoming year by $276.00.

CSU Strategic Plan Adopted
The CSU Trustees adopted the Access to Excellence strategic Plan following a comprehensive process. The effort was the passion and vision of Board Chair Roberta Achtenberg.
